Brushed or brushless electric RC cars?

Brushed motors are cheaper and simpler, which makes them a good first step for beginners and younger drivers. Brushless motors are more efficient, need less maintenance and deliver far higher top speeds, particularly when paired with a LiPo battery and a suitable speed controller.
